Rachael Dickson is the principal attorney of Dickson Law, where she focuses her practice on trademark prosecution and counseling. She is also a visiting assistant professor at Suffolk University Law School, where she runs the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic. For over four years, she worked as a trademark examining attorney at the US Patent and Trademark Office, where she specialized in examining cannabis and hemp trademark registration applications as part of a select controlled substance work group for over two years. Before her time at the USPTO, Rachael worked with a medical cannabis company in Illinois. She later assisted legaltech company Haloo (formerly Heirlume) with the development of their AI-powered trademark search and application drafting tools and worked at Dykema Gossett as an associate.
