Jamie Sternberg is based in Connecticut and has passionately worked in the field of trademark and copyright law for 17 years. Jamie’s practice focuses on strategic counseling, prosecution, enforcement, and transactions with respect to trademarks, copyrights, and domain names. She has successfully registered well over a thousand trademarks with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). In addition, she advises clients on navigating risks with respect to the adoption and registration of trademarks and develops strategies to protect and enforce intellectual property assets worldwide. She routinely enforces trademarks and copyrighted material on the Internet, including handling Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution proceedings and taking infringing material down from websites, mobile applications, and social media platforms. Jamie also litigates opposition and cancellation actions before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Jamie has been recognized as a top trademark attorney in the 2021 and 2022 editions of World Trademark Review WTR 1000 and is ranked among World IP Forum’s 2021 list of 250 Powerful Women in IP. Jamie has been an INTA committee member since 2016 and currently serves on the Internet Committee. She is a co-author of the 2022 book Women in Law: Discovering the True Meaning of Success, and regularly speaks on trademark and copyright issues.
