Daphne Benford-Smith is the Founder and Managing Attorney of The Benford-Smith Law Firm, PLLC, where she zealously helps clients build their legacies through trademark, copyright, and contract services. Daphne received her Juris Doctorate in 2018 from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas where she was Executive Editor of the Law Journal and a member of The Houston Young Lawyers Association. After passing the July 2018 Texas Bar Examination, Daphne went on to practice family law where she was recognized as a Top Attorney by Houstonia Magazine and a member of the Burta Rhoads Raborn Inn of Court, the elite family law honor society. Although she no longer practices family law, Daphne brings that same vigor to her intellectual property and transactional practice. In her spare time, Daphne enjoys playing flute, reading, consuming anime and manga, traveling, and blogging.
